We do not allow guests to take any live shells on our boat.
Capt. T John and Amanda gave us a very enjoyable afternoon. Amanda was full of details about the area and the wildlife. Lots of information we had never heard, and clearly enjoys her job. The two worked well together to make it a good day.
I read all the reviews and we chose this team to take out to relax and enjoy a couple hours of sun, fun and one of the most perfect sunset. I haven’t even begun talking about the crew, which quickly became friends! Rick was fun, energetic and even though he was multitasking he looks you in the eye when speaking with you! Great All Around! Many thanks to you both!
I went on the dolphin cruise to Anclote Key on 5/15/19 and had a wonderful time! The First Mate Amanda was amazing. Not only extremely knowledgeable but a fun and interesting presentation. I will recommend this trip to others and come back myself… Thanks to Captain Joe and First Mate Amanda!!
This was my first sunset dolphin cruise on Odyssey cruises and they delivered. Not only did they stay for the entire sunset, they made it a point to stay with the dolphins even after the sun went down. Captain Mike and Amanda were awesome. I now have stunning photos of the sunset and dolphins. Not to forget the awesome shells we found on Anclote Key. So worth every penny spent. We will be back!!

Trip was excellent.Staff, Amanda was very knowledgeable, friendly she knew a lot of history about the area and the shells and sea life also helpful to everyone. Captain Joe was very interesting as a local he gave us a perspective of life in Tarpon. Springs.
We saw several dolphins and had a very smooth ride.
We will do this again with our company coming to Florida.
We were very satisfied

I can’t speak volumes enough, this is a rare treat and we live in South FL. We moved down here 2+ years ago and have been on several eco tours. This one rocked. We saw over 10 dolphins on our trip, and docked at a beautiful sand bar island where we just enjoyed FL.
Honestly best trip, best day trip to Tarpon Springs. It’s my new favorite spot Day Trip in South FL.
My family and I took the two hour island tour and had a great time. The boat ride itself was really nice, about 30 minutes each way. We took the 4:30 trip. If you’re looking for the experience, I recommend that time. Fewer people on the boat and the sun isn’t as intense, but still nice. Fewer shells on the beach, though, since there are a couple of earlier trips. The boat captain and the guide were both great, and we saw a school of dolphins as a bonus. The rum runners were good, and they had plenty of water, Gatorade, and sodas for sale. Buy drink tickets when you get your trip tickets for a much better price.
Definitely a fun thing to do. I recommend expecting not to see any dolphins however. The say they see them 95% of the time but obviously it’s no where near that so don’t think you will. I think they should be more clear about the odds of seeing dolphins but aside from that it’s a decent experience
Great cruise to go on. Captain Mike and captain Rick make it a very enjoyable time. They are very informative not only about the wildlife but also about the history of tarpon springs sponge docks and the anclote area. Stopping to the island to collect shells we also got the pleasure of seeing roughly 10 dolphins very close to our boat. Please take the time to go on the tour if your in the area. A great time you’ll never forget.
